Happy Holidays

I think I say this every year, but how did the holidays sneak up so fast again?!  I'm as ready as I'm going to be.  Our plans changed at the last minute, but I'm excited to get to be with family.  I really miss our little family.  We are going to get to give big hugs to our kids and our sweet grandkids.  I wouldn't miss it for anything.  I will also get to see my dad and my brother and sister, and hopefully a few friends.  We put up the tree and a few decorations, thinking that we would be here, but I'm still happy we did because I've enjoyed it so much and we will still get to enjoy it when we get home.  Some years I really struggle getting into the mood, but at the end, I'm so happy I did.  Enjoy your time with all your family and friends and have happy safe travels .

Prayer Flags

Outside my back door and kitchen window, I have this view of the prayer flags.  I love looking out and seeing them sometimes blowing in a breeze. It gives me time to pause and breathe.  This morning we had just a bit of time that it snowed, and than the sunshine appeared .

Big changes

Big changes have been going on.  We packed up and moved to another State! A move that we had been planning for a few years, waiting for the right time and taking the big leap.  It is so different than where we were living which is a really good thing, but it just takes time to get use to.  We are still unpacking and getting settled in.  The weather here is different, really different.  This morning the low was 0 degrees!  But, we are warm and love seeing all the wild life outside the window.  Its quiet, we don't hear cars racing down the street, sirens or the roar of the morning or evening traffic on the distant highway.  Its truly a dream come true.  Our view is of mountains and the valley. I'm hoping to get all the art supplies and my fabric unpacked and organized so I can get back into my creative self.
