Fall in Colorado

This was on our evening walk yesterday. We had a bit of snow and the tempts have dropped a lot. I love it and all the colors and we even had rain.  We can always use rain here.  I signed up for a year of online art classes and gatherings.  I have needed this so much as I haven't done much art for a few years.  I need it and I feel like it will get me back to where I need to be to doing things I love.

I hope everyone is finding their footing in the arrival of Fall.  I know I'm ready for it.

End of February

Today is my dad's 89th Birthday. He lives by himself and works on his land.  He doesn't have animals as he use to, but he continues to keep busy.

We have been staying up to date on the Putins war.  It is so disgusting. He is an Evil man.  My heart and prayers are with the people of Ekraine.

We still have snow on the ground and will more than likely have hopefully more.  We have a really late Spring.  Normally we can't put any plants outside until the first of June. So watching photo's of so many getting their seeds ready and started is so different for our area.  This year I do want to try and have a bit of a garden on an outside open balcony area.  Its one we hardly ever use, but I think it will work and I'm sure going to give it a try.  I don't think we will be doing much if any traveling again this year. Covid is STILL going on as it is coming up to three years.  Even though they have lifted the mask mandate, its still going on and a lot have not been vaccinated.  So, we continue to be careful and wear our masks when we have to go to a store.  My life has now turned into being a hermit .  I love being at home, I do like to visit places, but at this point I don't feel safe.

How are you doing?

It won't be long and this month will soon be over.  How are you doing?  So many are having a hard time and I'm one of them.  Today is my grandsons 10th birthday and it makes me so happy.  I remember my 10th and it was such a big deal to finally be in double digits.  I'm actually enjoying the slowness  winter.  We are very dry here which scares me.  I am still hoping we get huge amounts of snow in the next few months.

I'm gathering things to do some slow stitching.  Taking time daily to get outside and get some fresh air. Even better is remembering to take my camera even if it's my phone camera.  I just never know what magic I will find through the lens. I hope you are finding some time in your day to see the magic.
