We had a really sad Christmas tree this year.  I just could get into decorating this year.  I missed my kids and grandkids so much.  I'm hoping 2021 at some point we can get together. I have also decided this year we will celebrate the new year when our new President is in office.  

We had snow today off and on.  They were saying we would have 1-2 feet, but that hasn't happened yet.  Still a chance overnight.  I love the snow.  It's just beautiful.  We enjoyed today with reading listening to music and I watched a movie and even took a 15 minute nap.  It was a nice quiet day.  

I have some things in the works for next year, I will keep updated as it goes. I have a couple of paintings to finish up and excited to start a new one.  I hope everyone is staying healthy and my hope for next year is that we can get together with our family and friends again.  

     It's happening, the season is changing.  I love Autumn, the crispness in the air.  We had almost a foot of snow last week, which is really early for us.  Fire's are burning on the West Coast.  We have had heavy smoke here in Colorado.  The pandemic isn't slowing down, I'm so ready for 2020 to be over.  I'm honesty not sure that 2021 will be much better with the pandemic, I just keep saying wear a damn MASK! It's really not that hard.  

I've been going out every evening at sunset and giving Mother Earth a prayer and thanking her. It's so sad what we as humans are doing to our planet.  We all have to do more.  I continue to try daily to change the way we live.  

Tomorrow I'm planning on taking a little hike up the mountain and see what is changing and check out the creeks.  I can hear the one close to our house and with the melting snow, they should be running pretty nicely.
